Aqaba University Hospital AUH
The establishment of Aqaba University Hospital was part of a broader initiative to improve Aqaba’s educational and healthcare infrastructure. In 2021, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and the Aqaba Education Company signed an agreement to develop a medical university and private teaching hospital with significant investment. The project aims to attract students from neighboring countries and promote medical and educational tourism in Aqaba.
AUH is a leading private teaching hospital located in Aqaba, Jordan. Founded in 2025, AUH is the region’s first private teaching hospital, with a total capacity of over 200 beds. AUH offers a combination of healthcare services, medical education, and scientific research opportunities.
